Tehran Tak Industrial Group
We specialize in design and construction of Rotary Hearth Calciners, and Direct Current Electric Arc Smelting Furnaces.
Rotary Hearth Calciner
Rotary Hearth Calcining technology is used for high-temperature thermal treatment of petroleum coke. Raw petroleum coke granules are rapidly heated in these furnaces to temperatures of around 1400°C to produce Calcined Pet Coke (CPC). This flexible and agile technology is a great alternative to horizontal Rotary Kilns and Vertical Shaft Calciners, due to benefits such as low cost, low site area occupation, and higher yield among many others.
Tehran Tak has years of experience in developing and fine-tuning this technology. We can provide these furnaces at any requested capacity for customers around the world.
DC Electric Arc Furnace (EAF)
Direct Current Electric Arc Furnaces (DC-EAF) are used to smelt variuos Ferroalloys such as FeSi 75, FeMn, SiMn, FeNi, and high carbon FeCr, as well as silicon metal. A single self-baking (Soderberg) carbon electrode is used instead of three graphite electrodes of the AC furnace. The bottom hearth acts as the second electrode. This slashes costs and ensures a stable submerged arc with low-flicker and low-consumption performance.
Tehran Tak pioneers in design and construction of DC Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF) with single self-baking electrode for smelting Ferroalloys in Asia. We can provide these furnaces to customers around the world.
About Us
We have 25 years of experience in design and development of special machinery and technologies. These include Rotary Hearth Pet Coke Calciners, as well as Direct Current Electric Arc Furnaces (DC-EAF) with single low-cost self-baking electrode for the first time in Asia. Both technologies have proved to be successful, and our furnaces have been reliably producing products such as high quality Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) and various Ferro Alloys including Ferrosilicon FeSi75, FeMn, and FeSiMn.
We are open to cooperation with companies and business parties from around the world for technology transfer, design, and construction of these furnaces according to customer needs in terms of capacity, environmental regulations, etc. Please contact us to discuss our potential mode of cooperation based on your interests.
