Rotary Hearth Calciner

Rotary Hearth Calcining technology is used for high-temperature thermal treatment of petroleum coke. Green Pet Coke (GPC) granules are rapidly heated in these furnaces to temperatures of around 1400°C to produce Calcined Pet Coke (CPC). This flexible and agile technology is a great alternative to horizontal Rotary Kilns and Vertical Shaft Calciners, due to benefits such as low cost, low site area occupation, and higher yield among many others.

DC Electric Arc Furnace (EAF)

Direct Current Electric Arc Furnaces (DC-EAF) are used to produce variuos Ferroalloys such as Fe-Si, Fe-Mn, Si-Mn, Fe-Ni, and high carbon Fe-Cr, as well as silicon metal. A single carbon electrode is used instead of three electrodes of the AC furnace, while the hearth acts as the second electrode. Self-baking or prebaked electrodes can be used depending on the size of the furnace. This slashes costs and ensures a stable arc with low-flicker and low-consumption performance.
